About Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a holistic approach to health care based on the theories of Traditional Oriental Medicine. It involves the strategic placement of needles at certain points of the body in order to restore Qi (pronounced “Chi”), which is often described as bodily life force or energy. Qi delivers vital energy and nutrients to different parts of the body along several meridian lines. Meridian lines form a network throughout the body and correspond to various internal organs. Good health is a state of balance between Qi and blood, body and mind, and among internal organs of the body. For those of you familiar with yoga, the concepts of vibrations along chakras are a good analogy for understanding Qi and meridians.
FREE Health Evaluations
Learn how to increase your Qi (vital energy) and achieve good health through acupuncture and herbs. During this mini one-on-one consultation, Danny Han will assess your general condition and provide advice on how you can maintain a pain-free, stress-free, and drug-free healthy lifestyle. (This evaluation is complimentary and there is no obligation to book a treatment.)
$20 Auriculotherapy (Ear Acupuncture)
Auriculotherapy involves the stimulation of the auricle, or outer ear, using acupuncture needles. Auriculotherapy is effecrive for treating alcohol/drug addiction, insomnia, migraines, and smoking cessation. It also detoxifies the body, relaxes muscles and promotes a general sense of well-being. Other than a slight tingling or warm sensation around the ear, there are almost no negative or serious side effects from this treatment. Instead, patients usually report additional positive side effects including an immediate sense of well-being and relief from insomnia.
$40 Pain Treatments
The majority of our patients seek acupuncture as a therapy to treat chronic pain and illness, which have either not been resolved through Western medicine or for which the individual seeks a natural, holistic and drug-free therapy. During Acupuncture Happy Hour nights, we are pleased to offer acupuncture treatments for pain relief for just $40 (normally $80 per session).
Prepare for Services
We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may be asked to roll up your sleeves or pant legs - needles may be placed at various parts of your entire body, depending on your condition and specific complaints. A tank top and yoga pants are ideal.
For auriculotherapy, no special clothing is required. Individuals will long hair should bring a hair clip or headband.
Please also avoid heavy meals and alcohol immediately before your treatment. Upon arrival, you will be required to complete a Patient Consent Form before receiving acupuncture services.
In order to save time, you are welcome to download and complete the Patient Consent Form prior to your arrival.
